Lee Rayfield
Lee Stephen Rayfield〔(Anglican Communion )〕 (born 30 September 1955) is the current Bishop of Swindon.〔(Official notification of appointment )〕
Rayfield was educated at the University of Southampton.〔Who's Who 2008: London, A & C Black ISBN 978-0-7136-8555-8〕 After a period as a lecturer in immunology at the University of London and study at Ridley Hall, Cambridge he was ordained a priest in 1994.〔Crockford's Clerical Directory 2008/2009 Lambeth, Church House Publishing ISBN 978-0-7151-1030-0〕 His career began with a curacy at Woodford after which he was Priest in Charge of St Peter's Furze Platt and finally (before his ordination to the episcopate) Area Dean of Maidenhead.
